If you’re starting out or in your first year of a programming career we will pair you up with an existing Rubyist. We match you with someone with the experience you’re looking for and you can ask whatever you like.
Every working Ruby developer has experiences to offer to those following us into our community. You only need a year of programming before you can give back.
What we expect of each other
Something very similar to this programme has worked well in person at US Ruby conferences for many years. We also have guidance that you’re expected to read that should help make the best of your calls.
Right now this is the operation of one volunteer managing the administration and spreadsheets and (hopefully) many other mentors across the Ruby community.
